As a small boy of four years old, with a big voice, DaMarkgus began singing at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Many, Louisiana.A highlight of his teen years was to kick-off the hometown football games singing the school’s Alma Mater and The National Anthem.He expanded his abilities to include playing the alto, tenor and baritone saxophones in the Many High School Band.In 1998, when he moved to Houston, Texas, DaMarkgus sang in his church choir and the gospel group, Patrick D. Williams and Unity of Praise.Today he is a popular performer for weddings, banquets, parties, and musicals.
